Texas-based soprano Alissa Ruth Suver's warmth, clarity, and flexibility have allowed her to perform a wide variety of repertoire across the United States, both as a soloist and ensemble singer.

Alissa can be heard with professional choral ensembles around the country, including the Santa Fe Desert Chorale (Joshua Habermann, conductor), Skylark (Matthew Guard, conductor), Conspirare (Craig Hella Johnson, conductor), The Crossing (Donald Nally, conductor), and True Concord (Eric Holtan, conductor). She is also frequently on the roster for the Beckenhorst Press recording choir at Aire Born Recording Studio (Craig Courtney, conductor).

As a soloist, Alissa's most recent solo credits include Handel's Messiah, Bach's Mass in B minor, Scarlatti's 7 Arie con Tromba Sola, and Couperin's Leçons de ténèbres. She performs regularly with early music ensembles across the country in addition to her collaborations with both the choral and instrumental ensembles at her alma mater, Capital University (Lynda Hasseler and Jeff Gershman, conductors).

In addition to her performance work, Alissa is an active teacher and conductor. She has successfully taught middle and high school choir in both Ohio and Tennessee (and was named "Young Teacher of the Year" for her work in Louisville City Schools), and most recently, she accepted the Assistant Choir Director position at Timber Creek High School in Fort Worth, Texas. As the child of two music teachers, a love of music and music education was central to her upbringing (and she can't remember a time when she wasn't in rehearsal!).

She also also frequently sings as a church soloist and section leader and is regularly hired as an administrative assistant for various performance projects.

Alissa holds a Bachelor of Music in Education degree from Capital University in her home state of Ohio.
